Please Help Hyerim Continue Her Studies Without Worry
Dear friends,
We would like to introduce you to Hyerim, a North Korean defector student who dreams of becoming a doctor.
She is currently preparing for the national exam for medical school admission.
Hyerim was born in North Korea in 2001 and came to South Korea with her mother when she was 11.
Since then, she has worked hard to adapt to life here, pursuing her studies with determination.
However, her mother—who had supported her alone through many hardships—was recently diagnosed with cancer.
The family is struggling with the burden of medical expenses and living costs.
Despite the situation, Hyerim continues to study tirelessly, saying she wants to “become a doctor who can heal others like my mother.”
She is a bright and hardworking student who has been awarded a scholarship from NKHR’s Resettlement Support Program.
Now, we are trying to provide additional support to help her continue her studies without interruption.
Your help will enable her to focus on her dream without worrying about financial hardship.
We ask for your warm support so that this young student can achieve her goals and become a doctor who helps others.
Even a small contribution can make a big difference in her life.
Your support will be used for tuition, textbooks, and living expenses to ensure she can study in peace.
Let us stand together so that Hyerim can overcome these difficulties and continue walking toward her dream.
Thank you for your warm interest and support.
We hope you will always be healthy and blessed.
