[Domestic and International Solidarity] International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED)
The Citizens' Coalition for North Korean Human Rights stands in solidarity with all victims of enforced disappearance and collaborates with various domestic and international organizations and institutions aiming to achieve justice and accountability.
The Citizens' Coalition for North Korean Human Rights continuously collaborates with the International Coalition Against Enforced Disappearances (ICAED) to resolve the issue of enforced disappearances. ICAED focuses on maximizing the effectiveness of its member organizations' activities to promote the ratification and effective implementation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.
On May 29, 2025, the North Korean Human Rights Citizens' Coalition attended the ICAED General Assembly. This meeting reviewed the minutes from the August 26, 2023, session, discussed amendments to the coalition's bylaws, and coordinated future schedules. Additionally, elections were held for the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and key officers.
